Today I will share my personal experience of many years of battling #GIT disease, #esophagealhernia, and #gastroesophagealreflux. The year was 2002, I was 14 years old. Suddenly, #gastritis "stuck" to me, a perfectly healthy teenager. At first, it was nothing special, just like everyone else — morning mild pain "under the breastbone" in the stomach, evening rumbling in the belly. I think I went to a therapist then, and they prescribed #Linex and some kind of supplement. But soon the pain started to increase, and symptoms like #colic, #bloating, fullness, gas, burping, etc. appeared. An #EGD examination showed #acute gastritis and erosions.
I was getting worse and worse. I stopped eating at cafes, drinking cola, juices, tea, then stopped eating regular food at home, and the feeling "my stomach hurts badly" became permanent for me. I switched to oatmeal with water and cottage cheese, and as a result, I lost almost 10 kg (from 50 to 40 kg), developed anemia, weakness, lethargy, and other secondary illnesses. I even ended up in the hospital with amenorrhea and almost got registered with a psychiatrist!
Almost 4 years passed like this. During that time, I never got an exact diagnosis, but was treated with various methods: from expensive drugs to alternative medicine...
Money, nerves, and time were spent. All those years, my lifestyle and diet were tied to the "state" of my stomach. And in my mind, there was a fear — what if it’s cancer?
But one day, a turning point happened... In 2006, the [Medical Professional] another #EGD (the 14th examination). This time they "found" a polyp and a sliding hiatal hernia of the stomach. I was very glad to have some diagnosis, some clarity, although it required endoscopic surgery. Fortunately, the surgeon was "sent from God," and everything went well. From that moment, all the scary things were behind me... It felt strange and unusual that I could eat chocolate and not lie down with colic for 3 hours afterward, that I could eat at a cafe and not rush to the nearest toilet... It all passed. Without medication. The surgeon said I didn’t need drugs, just the surgery and supportive nutrition.
Almost 20 years have passed since then, I follow his advice and now I find #EnergyMax and #Maxilin products quite enough for prevention. By the way, since that surgery, I became a "home" expert on stomach pain. Friends and girlfriends asked me what to take if this hurts or that hurts. They were sure I knew everything about it I continue to support my stomach even now. I take liquid #Maxilin 150 g three times a day for 14 days, then take a break for 2-3 months and repeat the course. You can dissolve the dry sachets according to the proportions indicated on the package. Wishing everyone a healthy stomach! The stomach is life!
